LINE DRAWINGS, Handmade embroidery on paper / 2023-2024

The Line is the central theme in embroidery and drawing. The superposition of it creates a graphic pictorial plane with color pencils and volume and depth on these handmade embroideries.

Time and the repetition of the gesture brings a meditative dimension to produce the work. Each threaded stitch and line drawn becomes a mantra that moves on the paper intuitively, randomly, without a sketch, in a flow of counterweights and voids that play with the forces of different directions on the white surface.
